The new customer, a manufacturer of hand blown glass and handmade pottery, distributes premium quality products through a nationwide network of company owned retail stores, wholesale partners, e-commerce sites, and mail-order catalogues. Prior to purchasing Anytime Collect, the company managed invoices with its Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP system, a solid solution for managing various financial, distribution, and related business processes, but not a strategic tool to help them stay on top of their accounts receivable.
As with most mid-market ERP solutions, the accounts receivable module within Microsoft Dynamics AX offered limited capabilities to help the company manage invoices, which meant spending a significant amount of time and energy working on non-value added activities and tedious manual processes.
